Weigh In Wednesday Link Up

Good morning!

We are having all kinds of cray weather up in here today so I have to write really fast because my internet keeps going out.

Today I am linking up with Alex and Erin for Weigh In Wednesday.
I almost didn't post today because I was really mad at the scale this morning. I weighed myself like 47 times before I finally just gave up. I gained 0.2 this week. The reason I was so mad is because I did soooo good this week. I tracked, stayed within my points, and exercised like a mad woman. However, in order to stay accountable I am sharing this gain with you all. Even though the scale didn't reflect my hard work I am extremely proud of myself. I felt so amazing this week. I had ZERO headaches (which for me is a HUGE deal) and my energy has been way up. My energy could be attributed to the fact that I 'found' coffee this week... I can't believe I went 25 years without drinking coffee. Anyway, I felt great. So, minor setback on the scale, major success in how I feel... and ultimately that is the entire point of what I am doing.

Here is my workout recap for the week:
Thursday (1/24)- N/A
Friday (1/25)- N/A
Saturday (1/26)- 75 minutes of yoga
Sunday (1/27)- Zumba Exhilarate (60 minutes); Zumba Toning (30 minutes)
Monday (1/28)- Jogging 18 mins, walking 12 minutes

Don't forget about my giveaway coming up! You can read about it {HERE}.

  3. I've been down lately because despite staying in or under my points for three whole weeks, I've only lost 1.8 lbs overall... So I took a day off. I didn't go crazy and still made sensible decisions, but I had a soda (!!!!) and two cookies as well. Then lo and behold, the next morning I had lost another 0.8 lbs. Just enough of a shock and wonderful surprise to get my head back in the game and keep on pushing. We can do this!!

  5. The scale will catch up girl, I promise! The good thing is that you're doing a lot of things right for your body and health, regardless of what the damn scale says. So frustrating, I know... just keep your head in the game and the scale will go down!

  6. Ugh. It's not always easy to keep going. After three weeks of staying in or under my points and using the elliptical for half an hour 5 nights a week, I'd only lost 1.8 lbs. I was really frustrated, so I took a day off--I still made healthy decisions, but I did indulge. I had a soda (!!!!) and two cookies, and even a slice of white bread. After going to bed depressed, I woke up to another 0.8 lb down. How, I don't know--but it was just enough of a surprise to get my head back in the game. We can do this!!

  10. Sometimes there is a gain for no understandable reason. The key is to not give up which is so hard to do.

Great job with remaining honest and posting the gain. It's hard to post the not so great weeks.

Stopping by from Weigh In Wednesday.
